Heading back to the virtual classroom? If so, you should probably have a good laptop on hand for classes, assignments, and multitasking (aka having a Netflix tab open while you work). But not all of us can drop upwards of $1,000 on a laptop — that’s where we come in.
This week, we’ve got another fresh batch of cheap laptop deals as of Aug. 21 that’ll start your school year off on a good foot — check out our selection below.
The Microsoft Surface is one of the best 2-in-1 devices you can find at a fair price. It’s fast, versatile, and ready to go with you wherever you need to be. Pick one up on Amazon for only $779.42 (that’s $250.57 off the original price).
The Lenovo IdeaPad 330S is a super well-rounded laptop that’s suitable for both work and pleasure. It’s got a killer display, speedy processor, and maintains an impressive battery life. Grab one on Amazon and save yourself $101.
If you want a laptop with a stellar processor, this Asus VivoBook packs an AMD Ryzen 5 3500U that should keep everything running nicely. It also has 8GB of RAM for basic multitasking and a 512GB SSD. Save $100 at Best Buy.
Another 2-in-1 option, the Acer Spin is a compact companion that’ll run smoothly while you work. It has a multi-touch display, too — save $124 on one when you buy on Amazon.
You won’t get a ton of storage and memory with this ultra-cheap laptop, but the 15.6-inch display is nice and the machine operates under Windows 10 Home. It has HDMI and USB ports and an SD card slot and is capable of meeting all your basic needs — all for less than $300.
The HP Pavilion x360 is a great compact work laptop, and you can customize it to your liking on HP’s website. Save up to $200 off the usual price.
Inspiron laptops are really great computers and this one is a 2-in-1, meaning it doubles as a tablet for even more ways to use it. It has pretty low storage capacity, so this is not the best option if you need to save a bunch of large files. But for basic use, it’s a nice choice.
The Vostro 3490 is a reliable work laptop that’ll suit remote workers nicely. It’s only $529 at Dell, saving you $226.72.
